Citizens For James Whitehead

Mr. Whitehead is a father of 2, born and raised in the 7 district frankford section of the city of philadelphia, graduated from public school, ben franklin class of 07, went to college at CCP, &temple university studied Economics and political science. I was recently elected from the ( Public ) for City excutive committee in july of 2022 for a four year term. Also serving as a ward leader along with running, the RKC Residence for kensington - increasing the quality of life for the residence living in the 7 district. Juiniata, Frankford, Northwood, Port Richmond, West kensington, Harrowgate, Oxford circle, and the bad lands.

Growing up in poverty gave me life skills and better understanding when it comes to inner city living. I was Elected to the board as a NAS director at the nicetown cdc, I was in charge of helping the residents with living assistance, in terms of Li-heap, TANF, Tax programs to help the elderly stay in their homes, with my own company gave job oppertunities to felons & young adults looking for employement, guided residents through obama care for health coverage. I Volunteered at temple health department, as a field operator during the covid crisis, helping people to understand what covid was and what to do if you are individuall was sick. I own & operated my own company hiring kids from college, elderly, troubled teens, and felons who had trouble finding employement, having interviews at local cdc centers around the city of philly, so that; job candidates can have easier access to the interview.

In june of 2022 I marched for school saftey, in philly public schools regarding Bullying, Heat & Air conditioning, healthier food,  fair school funding, along with me in the march that I put together I had fox 29, channel 6 & 10, local ward leaders, and the genereal public along for the walk.

I hosted food drives, book bag giveaways, Covid relief, paper shredding, Carrer fairs, job traning for skills that will land people better careers.
