Doing good is a beautiful thing. As a mentor, you can give a child facing adversity an opportunity to see beyond everyday life and dream BIG.
By simply opening their eyes to what the world can offer, you can literally start transforming a life. Sometimes it’s as simple as playing video games, going to a museum, or hiking for a few hours, twice a month.
Research shows children in our program have lower rates of skipping school and fewer disciplinary problems. In 2015, 96% of our kids graduated high school and 94% of these kids are college bound. Most importantly, they have a more positive attitude about their future.
