About Us
ሰላም and welcome to the Amhara Political Action Committee (Amhara PAC)!
Founded in 2020 by Amhara community leaders across the country, Amhara PAC is a bipartisan Ethiopian-American political action committee. Our goal is to support and elect federal candidates who are committed to supporting the needs and values of the Amhara people in the United States.
In addition, Amhara PAC will educate candidates on issues of importance to the Ethiopian-American community and work to increase Amhara participation in the U.S. democratic process.
Amhara PAC seeks to protect and expand the U.S. – Ethiopia relationship, the oldest of any U.S. bilateral ties in Africa, to the mutual benefit of both countries.

Amhara PAC is happy to say that nearly every candidate we endorsed this year has won their election! Congratulations to President-Elect Joe Biden and Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris, Senator-Elect John Hickenlooper, and all of the Senate and House of Representatives incumbents that we supported.
On January 5th, 2021 there will be two runoff elections in Georgia that will decide which party controls the Senate. We are happy to endorse Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff in each of these races, and we look forward to supporting both through the Amhara PAC and the Amhara community in Georgia.
